gold producers. To support our application design, development and
support group, we are seeking a highly qualified professional for the
following position :
General Superintendent - Chief Application Architect (Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the IT Application Manager, you will work with
operations and business application leaders to oversee the strategy
and tactics associated with application life cycle management.
Strategically, you will maintain our roadmap for application and
database development standards based upon the directions of our key
product vendors - including Microsoft, Mincom and Business Objects.
The tactical requirements will include providing direct guidance and
coaching on quality, methodology, framework, operational performance,
etc. for applications, tools and data structures. Our intention is to
ensure that all application build/buy/partner choices are made to
minimize long term cost of ownership whilst maximizing utility
We have structured this role for success and have implemented several
key supporting roles. These include a framework architect (for all
application design and development standards); a release architect
(for security, methodology, QA and reuse); and a database architect
(for our database and data warehouse ecosystem design).
Requirements:
You will need to demonstrate that you have a very strong technical
expertise coupled with a knowledge based strategic vision. You will
also need to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate that
vision to others and to show that you have the passion to ensure that
the vision is followed. It is expected that you have strong academic
qualifications in Information Systems discipline and at least 10 years
experience in designing and overseeing large-scale enterprise
application and systems developments. This work experience should be
in major or multinational companies. Ideally, you can also demonstrate
peer respect by your activity in professional organizations.
