Position: SAP Business Analyst
Location: Healdsburg, CA
Rate: Open
Duration: 12 months +
Required:
* Previous experience as IT Business Analyst in SAP environments,
dealing with business and technical teams in the
definition of requirements, prioritization and coordination of
delivery of work.
* Project planning and management capacity and experience.
* Effective stakeholder communication, coordination and
influencing skills.
* Strong analytical and organization skills.
* Self-starter, with ability to work with a high degree of
delegation, to multi-task and to work well under time constraints.
* Ability to articulate challenges and recommend approaches in a
creative manner.
* Team player.
Education/Experienc e/Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in a SAP IT Analyst role.
Position Summary:
To coordinate all project and maintenance activities associated SAP, working
in collaboration with the SAP Business Owners and the SAP Technical Support
Team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management & Special projects (40%)
* Work with the SAP Business Owners in the definition and
formalization of requirements for any new project work.
* Develop formal requests (standard forms) and project plans in
conjunction with the SAP Technical Support Team.
* Manage project activities from the business side (coordination
of users dedication, business definitions, testing, data
Entry, training, etc) and liaise with the SAP Technical
Support Team for technical tasks* development.
SAP Enhancements & Issues resolutions (40%)
* Coordination of SAP Enhancements List: prioritization (working
with SAP Module Owners), weekly review with SAP
Support Team, coordination of business testing and sign-off.
Administration of time spent by the SAP Support Team with SAP support
work (enhancements and break/fix) and
effectiveness of delivered solutions.
Coordination of SAP Key Users group (10%)
* Take a lead position coordinating the SAP Key Users Group
activities: prioritization of work, cross-function discussions, improvement
of level of business ownership and self-sufficiency, address training needs,
etc.
SAP Security, SOD & Basis issues (10%)
* Oversee SAP Security and Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls,
as defined by Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
* Liaise with the SAP Security Officer and the SAP Module Owners
to make sure that changes are properly authorized, controlled and
documented.
