Assistant Project Manager Livelihood
Location : Simeulue
Base : Teupah Selatan
Reports to : Teupah Selatan Field Office Manager
Supervise : PO Livelihoods
Coordinates with : APMs, Shelter, M&E, & SCM
KEY FUNCTIONS:
This position is created to ensure appropriate oversight over the Beudoh Livelihood Program. This program is managed to achieve equitable and sustainable recovery of economic security of tsunami-affected communities, households have recovered or strengthened livelihood asset bases (tangible, intangible assets and conducive environment) and income sufficient to meet or exceed basic needs, while ensuring full participation of the poor in the recovery process, gender equity, and reduced risks to recurrent hazards, in Teupah Selatan
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and Facilitate coordination between PO Livelihoods and Support unit (admin, procurement & finance) and Logistic.
2. Control and Ensure the Beudoh Livelihood Simeulue (Strategic plan, Log frame and work plan) well implemented and beneficiaries receive the support they are entitled too.
3. Prepare draft of Activity Work plan and propose to the Field Office Manager with consult and technical considerable of the TAG team.
4. Prepare draft of Project Activity budget and propose to the Field Office Manager
5. Control the budget of Livelihood sector Beudoh Simeulue
6. Ensure that all costs are charged to the right Fund Code and donor budget line items or Extended Fund Code
7. Fully Managing of the Livelihood field activities and staff Management base on the CARE procedural and principles, log frame and work plan of Livelihood
8. Lead and ensure that materials, tools and equipment are delivered on time to the field/beneficiary following CARE International Indonesia Procedures and Principles.
9. Assist POs with CARE administration and Livelihood technical standard.
10. Lead POs and community cadres to ensure the implementation of the Livelihood strategy and Work plan.
11. Reports (monthly progress report) in a timely and accurate fashion and ensure that reporting deathliness are meet every month to the Field Office Manager ( Deadline of reporting is date of 23 every month)
Requirements:
· Experience with Recovery of livelihood and cross cutting ( partnership, DRR and RBA & Gender) programming and Urban issues
· Aware of CARE vision, mission and principles
· Aware of CARE Logistics, Financial, Administration and Procurement Procedures
· At least 3 years of project management experience preferably with CARE International
· Bachelor degree in Livelihood or any relevant background.
· Good communications skills of English and Indonesia, including negotiation skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for beneficiaries
· Willing to spend a considerable amount of time in the field
· Honest, responsible, self motivated and able to take initiative under minimum supervision

Project Officer Water & Sanitary
Location: Simeulue, Indonesia
Base: Teupah Selatan
Reports to: APM Watsan
Supervise: FO and FA Watsan, Contractor & Labors
KEY FUNCTIONS:
The Project Officer has overall responsibility for implementing the various tasks of the Watsan construction of the Beudoh Program. This will include such tasks as identifying and preparing rosters of conducting community water supply and sanitation meetings, conducting water supply and sanitation surveys, facilitating community water supply and sanitation mapping, assessing community water supply and sanitation needs, defining community water supply and sanitation priorities, and in general, providing the interface between program technical staff and community membership. S/he will need to ensure that the programs are well planned and the goals are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct baseline/KAP survey and keenly compile data or information from the sources regarding the Water sanitation sectors with assistance from Community Leader
2. Provision of socialization and information of CARE and water supplies and sanitation programs to beneficiaries
3. Fully Control and ensure the design, specification and technique of the implementation of the Water supplies and sanitation project activities by CARE and/or by the winning Contractors of CARE.
4. Facilitate, Control and support the winning Contractor for implementation of the infrastructure projects in the field.
5. Assist, coordinate and support the Construction leader and Community labors for implementation of the achieved project targets.
6. Coordinate with the Watsan Advisor to ensure the target of the water supplies project within the designated timeframe
7. Develop a monthly report to the APM Watsan on the progress made and potential problems
8. Provide input and recommendation for improving the performance and support of the APM Watsan.
9. Ensure the financial administration of the field project are meet the CARE International standard system
10. Conduct any other duties that may reasonably be assigned inline with the position.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Civil Enginer or any relevant background.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
The Field Officer has responsibility for, assisted by the PO Livelihoods, identifying and preparing rosters of conducting community Livelihoods meetings, conducting Livelihoods surveys, facilitating community Livelihoods mapping, assessing community Livelihoods needs, defining community Livelihoods priorities, and in general, providing the interface between PO Livelihoods and community membership for CBOs.
Responsibilities:
1. Compile data or information from the sources regarding the Livelihood sectors with assistance from Community Leader
2. Provision of socialization and information provided by PO Livelihoods to beneficiaries
3. Ensure the implementation of the Livelihoods project activities in the field.
4. Assist, coordinate and support the Livelihoods Community Group and Cadres for implementation of the achieved project targets.
5. Develop a monthly report to the PO Livelihoods on the progress made and potential problems
6. Provide input and recommendation to the PO Livelihoods on situations and potential problems in the field.
7. Conduct any other duties that may reasonably be assigned by superior inline with the position.
