Distribution Manager (DM)

responsible for managing all processes involved in a supply chain including warehousing, administration and distribution. This includes liaising with Factory, Key Account/Retailers and, increasingly, the end Consumer/Distributo rs.

The role can encompass transportation, stock control and warehousing. It involves ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of finish goods/products at optimum costs.

IT plays a key part within the logistics field in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation.

Qualification

a.. S1 degree in business/management , transport/distribut ion/logistics management or science and geography.
b.. IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data; information systems/computing.
c.. Min 5 years related work experience in National & Local Outbound Logistics, including warehousing, storage, retail or administration
d.. Exposure in FMCG company is preferable
