CHIEF FACILITIES ENGINEER (CHFE)
CITIC Seram Energy Limited (CSEL) is a newly appointed Operator of
Seram Non Bula Block in Eastern Indonesia requires highly qualified
individuals to join and strengthen our Jakarta team
CHIEF FACILITIES ENGINEER (CHFE)
Qualifications :
Must have worked for at least 12 years in engineering roles
(including conceptual, FEED and detailed design stages) associated
with oil and gas facilities (that include well-site facilities, sour
heavy oil/gas/water separation/treatmen t, gas compression, pipelines,
crude fractionation, tank farm, marine export system and associated
remote area facilities) and acted in a role equivalent to a CHFE for
at least 2 years during that period.
Must have thorough demonstrated understanding of engineering
management techniques, a technical background in an engineering
discipline (2 years minimum) as well as in an oil & gas operating
company and a full understanding of the technologies employed in the
above-mentioned facilities
Must have demonstrated expertise in preparing technical
strategy/plans/ definition, design bases, conceptual work scopes and
justification proposals (that incorporate Operation an Maintenance
needs) for facilities development and improvement works, including
excellent (international standard as a minimum) written and verbal
communication skills in the English language.
Must have demonstrated gas operating company expertise in oversight
of technically- significant aspects of daily production operations and
technical audits / performance tests of oil and gas facility
operations (including management of change systems), effective
application of "lessons learned" and identified improvement
opportunities to current operations and future designs and urgent
resolution of technically significant production facility operational
problems.
Must have demonstrated expertise in the review and approval of key
design engineering deliverables.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in supervising, directing
and mentoring a team of multi-discipline engineers
Must have experience of acting in a Facilities Engineering &
Construction Manager role on a temporary as-required basis
General Qualifications :
BSc degree in Engineering from a university considered by CSEL to be
of an internationally recognised standard.
Good understanding of health, safety and environmental laws and
regulations
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and capable of
working with limited in-house resources
Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate project ideas
in a clear and concise manner.
Candidates must be enthusiastic and results oriented
Well organized, self-motivated and able to cooperate effectively
with other team members and leaders
Good computer skills in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal/written communication skills - with an enthusiasm
for communicating ideas and results to internal groups and external
partners, government bodies, etc.
